My brother is going to be part ex ing his E36 M3 Evo convertable.

Does anyone have a clue what he should be getting offered against a £10-12k car? If selling he thinks its worth £4k, but has no idea in pex.

Its a 1996 Esoril Blue with light grey leather interior and blue roof, 98k, factory standard car bar the radio, REALLY good nick (no rust,no swirl marks, paint is almost perfect as the front end was resprayed a year ago for stone chips) all interior is perfect as he had the whole lot renovated, so no wear on seat bolster etc-looks like a brand new interior. Wheels are standard Evo staggered set up, tyres are Conti sport contact 3 with 5mm all round. Has recently had all bushes replaced, drop links changed, front wishbones changed, new steering rack.

Roof is in great condition and works as it should. Brakes all good, exhaust good, MOTd last week with no advisories, full BMSH till 85k and then indy or owner performed oil changes-all are documented.

MODS_: This car is NOT for sale privately so please dont think this is a for sale add-it is not.

Thanks

I would think 3-3.5k tops. A large dealer will probably move it on to a smaller trader so offer what they think they can pass it on for, maybe take a small hit to sell the 10-12k car.

I p/x'd my last evo at a well known specialist for £5k, the next day it was on their forecourt for £8K!

I think more likely 2.5k to 3k based on part ex of my old one 18months ago. They are great cars but do not have great demand second hand due to running costs.
