Hi,

Just done the deal on a 2007 Monaco Blue M5 with Silverstone Merino Leather.

Info in the forum, especially buyers guide was really helpful.

Cant wait for 5pm Monday now to pick it up.

It will feel a bit different to the XJR hopefully, looking forward to learning how to use all the buttons and gizmo's.

Nice, I think you will love it. I'm three months in to owning mine and even yesterday I found out about another feature in the iDrive menu.

Regards
Fred

Cheers guys, have to say I havn't been this exited about a new car for a long time, weekend can't go quickly enough.

XJR just clicked over 100k miles but still going strong but mrs prawn wanted me to get a smaller car, well the M5 is about 300mm shorter and a bit narrower than the Jag :-)

Don't agree with that. Mine has those wheels and much prefer them. My okd one had the others.

Hell yes, the car is everything I was hoping it would be.

Still getting used to all the various settings etc but its the first car in a long time that I just keep having to take out for a drive.

I also like the wheels :-)

Just need to find a petrol station with some V Power left now otherwise no more fun at the weekend!!
