Had the car detailed today

I had fellow PHer 'W4X LG' round today to give the //M.onster a bit of a going over. The results speak for themselves. Thanks to Luke for an amazing job.

Great work, looks spot on. Only thing is bugging me is the plate, too much going on with the logos but thats just me

No engine pics im afraid. I'll get some later but that wasnt part of the detail.

As for the plate, yeah it might be a little busy but my missus bought them for me. More than my lifes worth to change them.

Very nice,some pretty good reflective shots too,you dont usually get those with your typical BMW orange peel paint!

Its still a little orangey to look at but without doing a full sand down and flatten you cant get away from it. The surface finish is excellent now though and Luke did a great job. His attention to detail is superb.

I wouldn't touch the suspension on an M car, how often do they get it wrong?

^^ Exactly.

The E61 has a self leveling rear beam too so no way am i messing with that. Too many things to go wrong and its not like BMW are bad at make a car handle.

Actually the wheels always get odd looks from people looking at photos. But, in the flesh they do look 1000 times better. They are not everyones cup of tea but the tea often becomes more pleasant when seen in person. Each to thier own.

Its 9am at Brooklands but you need to be on the list of 600 to get in. You could always try putting your name down and see what happens.
