Hi everyone first post so here goes -
After considering many cars over the last couple of years since selling my Griff 500 and getting divorced etc, I wanted something that made me smile and the M3 seemed to tick the boxes for me.

Being a bit old fashioned and product of the late sixties I, of course wanted a manual and preferably in silver. I looked at a few on sites and went to look at a couple of examples. I thought the black leather a bit somber after the haphazard extravagance of the griff's swooping lines.
Then I saw one with the leguna seca blue interior trim and liked the look of it. Off to Nottingham I trundled to take a gander...
Nice history file with it and 81k on the clock with all print outs etc. Couple of small scuffs and the nearside mirror cowl has started to blemish but the front was not too stone chipped compared to some others I had seen. The leather wants a good clean but was in good condition. A test drive was done and under a bit of persuasive A road progress and a couple of B roads. No knocks, bumps or nasty noises were evident and it felt 'right'. A deal was done with the seller and I am picking it up Thursday.

Can't wait! ......

As a child also of the swinging 60's I wish you well with your new toy. They have their quirks but superb cars they are.

Enjoy.. smile

Good luck with it, post some pics once you've collected! I'm hoping to be in your position later this year so will be following with interest..
