e34 m5 head on 535 bottom end?

Ok I just need to get it out of my head and dream through the options. Bought an e30 with 3.5 engine conversion and I feel it needs a little bit more. I'm thinking how I might get it to around the 300hp mark?

Excellent reply. Thank you. All I know so far is that it's got a late 535 unit and is at about 220hp.

I'm definitely not wanting to spend 10k! the whole point of this car for me was a low budget way of enjoying a few track days again. Would just be a nice to get a bit more torque/response. Felt lacking for such a big lump.

It does fit and it has been done, but it is not straight forward.
