That's why you buy & supply your own oil.

My Z4M oil service & VANOS filter change at the dealer was less than £180 (1 hour labour, oil, air, VANOS filter, and oil disposal charge) - plus the cost of the the oil (about £30 as I bought it on special from Opie a year or two ago when I bought 8x4 litre bottles for about £150).

Isn't it just. And dealers wonder why owners wish to supply their own oil.

My last oil service on my M3 was £72. I provided the 6 litres of oil at an additional £45 or thereabouts. Fortunately, my local dealer is fine with that.

Yes, the quote for the service on my M3 went from £264 to £91 plus £53 for the oil I ordered this morning from ECP.

Result!

yes just bought some but the ecp price is superb.Always supply my oil for the m3 as they must pay even less than ecp with the volumes they buy so over £20 a litre is a joke.

I think ECP have run out fairly quickly Did give Opie the chance to match the price this morning but they couldn't so I had to cancel.

They did add ominously that Castrol "knew" about them and their pricing...
