Help with 1994 E36 M3 3.0L diff pulse rate please!!

Hi. I am currently building a Marlin Sportster using a 1994 S50 engine and drivetrain from a 1994 E36 M3 BMW. Have bought a rather lovely Racetech Dash, and to get the speedo calibrated right, I need the 'pulse rate' from the speed sensor on the back of the diff. Would anyone please be able to tell me what the pulse rate is? I think it might be 9 pulses per wheel revolution, but am by no means sure. Help would be greatly appreciated please!!
