E39 M5 emission warning light - help

I had the above warning light come on last night, it came on stayed on but this morning when I started the car it doesn't come on at all.

I run the car on V Power exclusively However yesterday I had to put in a full tank of regular unleaded, could this be the cause?

Supposed to be off to the Lakes this afternoon, but won't drive the car if necessary.

Could be one of a host of reasons....

You need to get the codes read....

It may be as simple as the fuel cap not being on securely enough, however without the codes you'll be guessing as to the cause, but you should be fine to drive...
