1999 E36 328 M sport value?

Hi all,

looking to buy a E36 328i m sport in avus blue with 53000 miles on the clock with Full BMW service history. Real genuine car in excellent condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. Any ideas as to how much it would be worth. thinking in the region of 4k? think the owner is going to ask within the region of 4-5k. Would be happy to pay around 4ish but dont want to pay over the odds for it.

Personally I wouldnt go over 4k, maybe even 3.5k if your going to keep it for along time then its probably worth it. Plenty of them out there. Also 4k+ is getting in E36 M3 money.

I bought a perfect 1999 with 112K on it last year for £2k. I'm afraid that I don't think that it would be worth £3K let alone £4k, even taking into account the lower mileage of the one you are looking at. Mine was immaculate and I don't think I'd pay more than £2.5k for one.

Agreed, I can't see paying more than £3k for one of these now, no matter how good it is.
