E92 early idrive satnav upgrade

I have a 58 plate MP3 with the DVD based nav, it knows not very many postcodes and I was thinking of getting a DVD off tinterweb, can anyone recommend one?

Any other must do tweaks?

You can upgrade the DVD but it still wont have the full 7 digit postcode search.

This refusal of BMW to make an £1,800 option up to the same spec as a £100 Tom-Tom is infuriating.

I bet a postcode database costs them less than a fiver a unit...

Also, not having business estates on them is crap. Try finding Tescos HQ in Welwyn garden city. Joke.

can you get a Tomtom with TMC for under a £100 then?
