How many Dakar Editions in the UK?

Having just started to look for an E92 M3 and seeing a yellow one yesterday I have decided this is the one I need to get.

I believe it was a Dakar Edition and was curious to know how many of these were produced?

250 were made, but not sure if that's worldwide or just UK. Looks pretty stunning in that colour, and contrasts nicely with the carbon fibre.
