For the record its not mine, i spotted it the other day on there. Its very tidy! Think the price is 14k but it has extra bits and bobs with all the standard parts available which he will put back on. Might be a good deal to be done on it!

I'm in two minds about selling at the moment.
The car's in good condition and just over 70k. Possibly a little older than you're looking for, but I'd recommend you buy on condition, regardless of age or mileage.
PM if you want details.
ETA: Ignore me, a rather lovely South African red has left me somewhat illiterate. Mine's not a CS...
As you were.

If anyone is keen to sell, please let me know. It must be relatively low miles (less than 70k) and have a bullet-proof service/ repair history and in as near perfect condition as possible. (Not red) No manuals though - Dodgy left knee.
Thanks!!
I presume you saw my posting in this thread? It's up for sale by it's current owner. Is probably still under BMW warranty (if I remember rightly Dec 12) and has a ton of paperwork to go with it.
Thanks!!

I'm very particular about my cars and had a fair amount of work done on it to keep it top notch.

Thanks for all the advice and suggestions, guys! Much appreciated.
However, after a lot of research I have decided to wimp out and buy a 335i auto instead.
It's not bad!
I'll save up for a 997 turbo now.
Boo! Get out of the ///M forum.... However, after a lot of research I have decided to wimp out and buy a 335i auto instead.

The 335i's are good cars, enjoy!

The 335i is indeed a very good car (I've got one at the moment albeit manual rather than auto) and remapped it will be quicker in a straight line than an E46 M3. However, it's not an M-car and my old M3 CS was on another level as a driver's car; much more involving and also better sorted when pressing on across twisty and undulating roads. That said the 335i is arguably a better all-rounder for everyday use and when I finally get mine off the dreaded run-flats I'm sure that will improve things on the chassis front!
It's not bad!
