I know there is a classified section and I'm using that, eBay and other sources to look at all available M5's. The reason for this post is to see if anyone knows of one for sale 'off grid'? Frankly none have really grabbed my attention yet through the normal channels.

I'm after what everyone else will be looking for! A facelift E60 M5, dark colour, black leather, as low a mileage as possible but <60k and with some good history inc clutch replacement if nearer to 60k than 30k. I always like cars owned by enthusiasts too and will entertain some tasteful mods, like sensible exhaust. I prefer the OEM alloys though!

What have you got guys, cash waiting as they say!

I'm near J12 on the M1.

Have you tried the m5board for sale section?

Can't seem to find any UK based on there?

It's mostly a US site but there are certainly UK based members.

Good luck with the search - I haven't seen any other m5s in the area since I got mine last year - I'm also off J12

Are you set soley on an E60? E61's offer a bit of practicality along with the oomph!

Is it true that E61s come with tartan rugs in the boot?!

Yes, and a tuperware box with scones and double cream.

Is this comment as you know one which is available, or a more generalised question? If you know of a good E61, I would indeed consider the additional 'practicality' it provides!

Was more of a general enquiry, but as you're flexible I've sent you info on a car I know. Sent by email.
