Just won a BMW ///M Power track day!!
Discussion
I never win anything, so was pleased to recieve a hear that I had won a BMW M Power track day at Brands Hatch on 3rd October, hosted by Andy Priaulx (touring car driver).
Letter says that you get driven round Brands Hatch circuit by a professional racing driver in an M3, plus there will be the opportunity to drive some of the latest M models.
Already looking forward to it, will try and remember to post some pics up here afterwards.

We lease a couple of BMW company cars and a letter came through to my business address at the start of September with details of the track day, I followed the link and entered my details. So not really a 'competition' as such.
Perhaps the comp was only for businesses that have BMW's on contract hire so limited entry numbers?

I like the way you explained you Andy Priaulx was. Anyone on this site you doesn't know what this chap does should be shot!Letter says that you get driven round Brands Hatch circuit by a professional racing driver in an M3, plus there will be the opportunity to drive some of the latest M models.

If you can drive an E92 M3 around a track, it's an absolute peach. So easy to control at and over the limit. Lots of feedback through the steering wheel and seat-of-the pants. Enjoy.
Hi Dan, have a great day tomorrow...........
We were there today and had a blast, BMW provided some great hospitality and let us loose in several M cars.
Highlight for me was a passenger ride with Andy Priaulx getting it all sideways! Also drove the M3 masters car as well as M1 M5, M6 etc....
A great prize, well done BMW.

Started out with breakfast at 8.30am in the main building at Brands Hatch.
Then split into groups and driven to the circuit, starting with demo laps of the indy circuit in your pick of current M cars to drive accompanied by an instructor. I grabbed an M5 followed by X5 M50d followed by M6. About 3-4 laps in each but all quite tame at this stage, were asked to keep it under 70 (ish) so hard to tell what the cars could do.
Then went on to faster laps on the indy circuit still, in one of about ten ///M sport liveried M3's. In these you were encouraged to really see what they could do. Was a bit damp still so had great fun getting the back end out coming out of corners. Instructor was very encouraging to explore the limits of the car.
My personal highlight of the day was a passenger ride in the BTCC BMW/Ebay car, driven by Rob Collard. I have to say that watching touring cars on TV does not do justice to the speed and brutality of this thing - almost seemed to defy physics, 200kmh+ at end of start/finish straight, hard on brakes then 130 kmh round Paddock Hill Bend - amazing experience! A few twitchy moments (but he more than handled them) as the circuit was packed by this stage with the likes of me doing demo drives, the M3 instructor drives, all of which were doing fraction of the speed of the BTCC car through the corners.
After this, hopped back on the bus and taken to an 'autotest' circuit, with four M135i's lined up. Basically had to slalom through 4 sets of cones, sharp 'U' corner through cones and to come back then round a 'roundabout' with short sprint to park inbetween 4 cones. All runs were timed, I was the first of the day to beat 21 secs and had a best of 20.85s. However, one guy on the last group of the day beat this with 20.19s but I think I finished second out of about 50 drivers. Great little car too.
Last thing was a 'dynamics' course, jumping in to 'limited edition' M3's (not sure what edition but were denoted 'x of 500'). This part was on a long straight and bend of the GP circuit. Basically it involved flooring the M3 up to about 80, then level off to 60, chuck it hard through a cone slalom without braking, followed by antother straight then stamping on the brakes at the next cone 'wall' with evasive manouvre to get around. M3 was really impressive - I always thought I would like the M5 better but to be fair I came away more impressed by the M3 today - more involving I thought.
Then back on the bus to the main building for lunch. I was sat on table with Vernon Kaye (guest of BMW I presume) who was a top fella, even was nice enough to record a short vid on my phone for my daughter who missed out on his signature at Goodwood last year. Also given a BMW gift (an ///M wallet which my brother looked up and is £73!) and all of the guest racing drivers were interviewed.
Only took limited pics I'm afraid - I attach one but the rest not really worth it - however, there was a BMW photographer there so will post the link when they come online.
Overall an amazing day, top marks to BMW. Didn't get a ride with Andy Priaulx in a normal M3 (but it was either this or a ride in the BTCC car with Rob Collard, glad I got the one I did for the experience).
Have to say, after being about to pull the trigger on a C63 AMG estate this weekend, I may well be scouring the classifieds for M3's (the dog will have to walk!)
