Quick question guys; when I go around a roundabout in my M6 I get a slightly strange clunking noise from what sounds like the rear-left of the car. Never hear it turning hard left, only right. I noticed I have a small slow puncture in the left rear, not sure if that could be related, waiting for a replacement tyre to come into my local fitters. Any ideas?

Could be diff, try changing to the newer spec fluid? If you've had the car a while and it's just started though , I can't help!

Nope, don't have it long, so it could be doing it forever to be honest - my suspicion was diff - but I'm no spanner king.

Clunking from rear could be diff bushes. Not uncommon.

If its low miles yes, but above 50k you might have to fight for it. Dealer dependant too.

Somebody sent me the service bulletin today and it describes it exactly, noticed today that it never happens on "quick" roundabouts only on the two very tight ones in my local village - - so a diff oil change seems in order.
