Price looks fair to me although I'm not sure of the interior colour, that could knock a few pounds off the value.

Is it full main dealer/good indy history? The usual bits done of time, running in service, Inspestion I and II's?

Why would the interior devalue it? It's grey, not a more 'niche' colour like kiwi, or boring wall-to-wall black...

Plus, it's a rare, Interlagos, manual CS; those alone will keep appealing to some folks (like me biggrin).

Grey is horrible.

I'd personally prefer grey on a CS to black leather, especially as I'd want Interlagos paintwork.

Also, to be honest, I'd also prefer the half leather with weird tartan pattern to black or grey, much like astonhold's M3 CS.

Not saying there's anything wrong with anyone wanting a different coloured interior (I have beige in mine) but it is less popular than black leather.

Less popular usually means less buyers which means it can effect value.

This is a Manual CS which is rare maybe less than 100 in UK.
About 240 M3 CS total came to UK.

Get the reg and chassis number call up BMW UK.
Find out where has been dates and mileages.
Call up individual BMW dealers and cross reference dates and mileages and find what been done
Think u can check MOT mileage history online
See the service history and any other paperwork they have

Re grey leather am not a big fan of but if u like it .... Good :-). Should not put u off a great car unless u are particularly fussy.

I personally think good M3 CS are quite hard to find now

To give you an idea of others for sale here's a link for my old CS (SMG) that the current owner has up for sale.

Less mileage, a lot more money.

http://www.munichlegends.co.uk/component/option,co...

Cant believe he stuck a CS badge on it...

how did you get on with SMG? Had it on a csl but that was under full warranty and alot newer; needed alot of upgrades and warranty work to keep crisp!

Took a while to get used to!

That CS was under BMW AUC warranty while I had it and I had no issues but the previous owner to me had the whole SMG unit replaced under warranty in 2010, about 5 months and a couple of thousand miles before I bought it!

Why did you get rid of a CSL? I'm keeping my eye open for a tidy one at the moment!

Might have bought this one myself if I lived within 400 miles of the dealer!

Had 2 csl's between 2006 and late 2007 , first was pinched and never seen again, despite a tracker.
The second, well I eventually found the seats and gearbox a pain for everyday use.
Great 2nd car . Many variables have to come together.....But on the right road on the right day.

I'm also looking at the M3 CS (have been for the past 3 months) but only interested in SMG versions.

This one has been on sale for quite some time now like most of them including the one at Munich Legeds.

I know a fully loaded CS (Interlagos blue/black leather SMG) sold about a month back at a traders for around low £13k which only had 46k miles on it with FBMWSH.

That seems like quite a cheap price.
I think very low owners low miles M3 CS are £15 -20k

There seem to be a lot more M3 CS with SMGII available for sale ....

Lovely one appeared on PH this afternoon - also been on m3cutters.co.uk for a few days. I'm holding out for a manual.
