the car is at the dealers since Monday,

tail gate glass not opening or opening by its self, increase battery drain cause by the switch not allowing the car to go to sleep.

auto tail gate not working ,it has a mind of its own .

there's plenty on here about the tailgate glass but i can't find anything about the auto tailgate.

The common problem is with the tailgate wiring. Really bad design that causes the looms to break up in the hinges, shorting the electrics off the bare metal inside the tailgate frame.

Mine is doing it at the moment and the switch is on order at my specialist, it's worth changing this first and then taking further to see if it's the loom.
