I'm looking to organise a group remap & delimit for 5 to 10 cars in the new year if anyone is interested? Price obviously dependent on number of attendees though looking max at around £800 to include dyno run.

Power & torque figures look good for what is already a high specific output engine:

+32bhp
+11lb/ft peak (+26lb/ft lower down the rev range)

Configurable options on the power button to keep P400 map and replace P500 for example or move P500 to default with P539 as an option.

DMS have a very good reputation as most PHers know. They bought an E60 M5 to design and test this remap over 6 months as well as full BMW diagnostics to make sure it's undetectable.

So as little as £80 each?
Not too bad if you get the numbers.

£80 wouldn't get you the dyno run let alone a remap!

Mine are fine with it. Sometimes the mainstream insurers can be a bit funny though I doubt many M cars are on these policies.

Need a minimum of 5 to make it happen which gets a 25% discount off of the standard price of £895 + VAT.

Potentially:

Alas mine is already done.... twice, and my last E60 M5 was done by then 3 times at different stages of modding... ROb is great and loves his own M5 and is a real petrol head wanting tog et everything he possibly can out of a remap, you can't lose with this deal I think smile

I'd be happy to pop along and say hello to fellow M5 owneres when it happens smile

As it happens RIGHT next door to DMs is Brystone BMW who get involved with some mods also, perfect for me, drop the cat to Brystons get bolt ons added then DMS take the car and work their magic. Both get my thumbs up smile

I'm in no rush - so that would be fine assuming the others (if any) are ok with it.

Am I the only one who thinks £800 each is an outrages amount?

DMS are more expensive than most, however their R&D is solid and proven. I wouldn't trust many other companies to go anywhere near the V10 in these cars. If you know of a company that has designed and tested their own software to the same extent then I'm all ears. The standard price is £1074, so £800 seems pretty good to me.

I was offered a map for £500 by a local company that I trust... but Id rather use DMS as they have done a lot of development and will actually dyno the car to check all is ok.
Its worth the extra £300 imo.

wouldnt pay 1k for a mapping though as thats more than id want to spend.

will check dates, might be possible but may have to stay local as its miles from me.

I've decided to sell my M6 in the coming months so won't be going the re-map route now. Happy to continue to organise if people are still interested though.
