There seems to be a E30 M3 appreciation society going on, so I thought it appropriate to start a thread for owners past and present to show off their car and if you feel like it a little history.

Here's mine...



Had it since 2004, full bare metal restoration started in 2007 and finished this year. Along the way I...

Fitted better brakes Alcon/AP
Biltsein dampers and lower 20% stiffer (not lower) springs
E46 steering rack
Few engine mods for 280hp
183k Kms

Not really been the weather for some decent pics since finishing it.

Mine's an Evo II in Macao Blue and I've had it two years. I purchased it modified and I'm gradually putting it back to standard. Modifications currently are:

Schrick cams
Motec ECU
Bilstein suspension
Miltek exhaust
Cecotto wheels (may keep these)

It supposedly has 239bhp but who knows.

It came with the wrong interior but I managed to find the correct one, which is pretty lucky as they don't come up for sale that often. Not really got any decent photos but it did look like this:

Here's my old one...Had it in 1996...Sold her for 12k back then and then saw her for sale a year or two ago with 99k on the clock and up for 30k....Guttttteeeeddddd....WHy didn't I keep her.

Not great pictures but it was 16 years ago....

1 previous owner, drove all over Europe, driven hard and fast and never disappointed sold and regretted since the moment it drove down the drive. Still hurts 6 years later.

Had it for a year now and it's the nicest handling car I've ever had.

Just a thought, I have never seen one of these up close and none seem to be turning up at an impromptu gathering at the ACE Cafe 29th Dec. If an owner is interested, then I'm sure one of us will budge up to fit you in the main car park.

Bug*er.....I'm in Italy skiing.....But I will keep an eye out for the next time.....

I had the chance when i bought my E46 to buy one, both were the same price, now i lost 4k on the E46, and would have gained 4k on the E30.
