Can't really tell, but opposite the M logo it should say BMW , look gen to me. Should have BBS stamped on the back inside spoke.

Could be early M3 ones as the later ones had different part numbers:

CSL wheels
36112282650 for 8.5x19 CSL front
36112282999 for 9.5x19 CSL rear

CS Wheels
3611228295 for 8x19 CS front wheel rear on CS is same as CSL

well that was the rear. essentially they are oem cs or csl?

They would be OEM CSL in that case, and they should only fit M3s, regular E46s tend to use 4 front wheels instead.
