Hi folks, well i was bored this morning and I decided to peruse the BMW website and noticed that the M3 is currently on a 0% PCP finance offer. I thought I would highlight this just in case anyone is looking for a new M3.... I guess BMW are having one last push to maximise their return, before the new shape is released.

Here is the offer...

£10k down and cheap monthlies should shift a few. Very tempting with the 0%

Good offer. At last BMW are bringing casual performance ownership in line with the C63 AMG. Audi are still hung up at £800 a month for the new RS4. Wouldnt have one myself as the market will soon be saturated by cheap low milers, hitting residuals of older examples. If youve got £500 a month to throw away though, there are worse ways to do it.

Wonder how this stacks up compared to deals on the m135i? The ' proper' M car is very tempting

£500 a month is a lot of money, but when you compare this with other PCP deals it's cracking.

That is not a bad deal at all and finally BMW have something that competes with the deals AMG have been throwing around on the c63 for at least the past 9 mths. If there is a similar deal on an M5 soon I will be seriously tempted

Gents, from reading a post on M3cutters earlier today, my understanding is that this offer does apply to the M5 and M6 (although not shown on the BMW site yet) ...

look here (post no.60) http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=685...

It would be interesting to know if anyone can confirm this

That isn't as appealing as I thought it might be, nearly 900 a month with an 11k deposit. may as well buy a year old model with a few options for 55k.

Yep because there is no dealer contribution (e.g Discount) like on the M3. The M3 is even cheaper here at £440 a month,

Unless of course you chuck £30k deposit in from say px-ing an E9xM3 or lower mile E60/1 M5 and youre looking at £340 a month with the same final minimum value. Thats tempting!

Any ideas as to what the M5 would be worth at the end of the deal though?!

£440 really is an excellent deal at the moment. But isnt the problem going to be that there will be no hope of selling the car at the end of the deal to make a couple of extra quid (which i'd hope to do) over the final value because the market is going to be so saturated with cheap ex-finance cars? 3 year old, 25-30k mile E9x M3's are currently looking for up to £30k on the network. In 3 years time at the end of the deal above the new M3 will be on the street. It'll be better on the fuel, have more interesting toys and will probably be sporting enticing offers of its own. What do we predict the value of a 3 year old, low spec E9x M3 will be in Jan 2016? Id be surprised if the next gen M3 knocks the value of the cars in this deal right down to circa £20k, limiting any chances of coming out with any capital after handing it back. All will be forced to hand the car back and walk away with an empty wallet, or at best trade it for another BMW on another deal. Still, its better than buying one outright at this late stage in the E9x M3's life, that would just be bonkers.

E60 M5's were half value of new (£30k-ish) after 3 years, so youre looking at £35k for the F10, maybe a little more (£40k??) if the mileage is good. Upside is that it'll probably still be a current model in 2016 so there will still be dealer demand for the F10.

£440 price is not DCT box. Thats a bit extra!
