Seems a bit too cheap to me, but the seller normally only deals with mint cars and has been around for years. He's being honest about it and it doesn't look bad in the pictures, but what are your insincts telling you chaps?

"THIS CAR IS A BEING SOLD ON A TRADE SALE BASIS AS SEEN WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED - THE RECEIPT WILL SAY 'SOLD FOR SPARES' TO COVER US. IF NOT SOLD PROMPTLY IT WILL BE SENT TO AUCTION WHERE IT WILL HAVE RESERVE OF OUR ASKING PRICE. THIS IS A COMPLICATED OLD CAR THAT REQUIRES SOME TLC IDEALLY FROM AN ENTHUSIAST OWNER SO DO BEAR THAT IN MIND."

Says it all, plus if he is a real trader and selling it then it does come with full SOGA. Run from this, run from any advert where they cannot even bother to spell check. This car screams problems.

Avoid. There are plenty out there. The spares crap suggests they know something. Vanos . Clutch. Exhaust.
Take your pick.

It is a curiously worded advert and it would put me right off. I have seen good looking facelift models for this kind of money.

Wouldn't bother with it. Its not even that cheap for a pre facelift. You will get a nice facelift thats been properly looked after for about £7500.

It really is worth being patient with an m5. Buy privately or live a life of regret and misfortune. You need to meet the owner and stare into their eyes...

I would not anywhere near a car with that spares or repair crap in the wording. As others have said there are plenty to choose from so take your time.
