I've heard that their cars are mostly commission sales, price looks good though plus it's still under factory warranty so pretty risk free.

It'll depreciate £1k+ a month for the next three years mind you.

Interesting. Despite there only being 15 or so in the UK certainly they weren't all sold initially...my local dealer had one in the showroom for quite a while. It's probably not that bad a purchase....I think these will always be worth more than £60k or maybe more.....a new M3 can easily be specced to that amount and you have to believe that one of these would always be worth more than that.

Certainly don't see it losing £36k over the next three years.

There's a new one that's been sat in Knights BMW in Stoke for a few weeks.

Been there once to see a car and they have their fair share of "ropey/tired" cars. I was spun a yarn about the car i went to see, which I found out from another source was an ex press car, including many laps of the ring.

At the time they had the "new" m5 which was an ex demonstrator which had/needed paintwork.

They are generally v competitive on price though.

The dealership is relatively local to me and generally I'd agree with the comments above; take a close look at their stock and some of it isn't what you'd call mint condition (scruffy alloys, minor dings and scratches on the paintwork, etc). If I was in the market for the sort of vehicles they sell there are other dealers I'd go to first but in fairness the car the OP's looking at has done next to no miles, is still under warranty and should be like new; therefore, any risk should be minimal and if the price is reasonable it's probably a decent buy!

I thought the one in knights was used, but either way it is £117,000 so the OP's car is a bargain in comparison.

Great car for a collector, not sure I'd want to drive around Europe in it.

This car was being offered at Barrons - BMW dealer in Guildford - late last year. Price tag was over £90k then.
