Does anyone know if they have any "known" issues? In terms of reliability etc

I've owned two and never had an issue nor have I ever heard of any.

Which is strange as I spend far too much time on car forums.

It really does seem to be a reliable gem, but I'm sure someone will come along and burst my bubble.

I second this & I think it's meant to be pretty bulletproof, at least I hope so!

The throttle actuators are known to fail, not a major issue.

As previously mentioned I've heard of a few throttle actuators failing on other forums over the years. That's about it.

I've had mine for 13mths now and the V8 is simply astonishing. I've had no issues with mine at all. The performance is blistering and I think the V8 is one of the best engines ever made.

Bit of a googling turns up a few rod bearing issues and the odd engine failure but not much else.

I got rid of my TVR because of this problem when that let go!...out of the frying pan & into the fire it seems...I hate the Internet!!
