My new E92 M3 DCT Coupe - Mineral White / Fox
Discussion
I ordered the car in December so the wait has been painful to say the least! Delivered last Thursday 14/03/2013 on the same day the new owner of my Scirocco picked it up.

Took it round the block then came back and took this one, nice touch 13 miles. Had a warring light but it was just low fuel. (better get used to that!)

I'm really pleased with the Mineral, it's pearlescent characteristic is just stunning (to me anyway)

Fox is really hard to capture the true colour but I love it, breaks up the interior nicely.

I was concerned the car would be filthy when it turned up as it's been on a truck for 2 days making it's way down but was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. I was also a little concerned that the car may get damaged but it is just perfect not a mark on it.
DCT is bliptastic (down shifting puts a big smile on your face) and I'm finding it really hard to keep below the 5K.
I love the sound of it even when slowing down there is a mechanical whine and the roar on acceleration is truly addictive!
This cars heart is some peace of quality engineering, a truly awesome V8 engine.
Really like the little touches such as the lighting, fold out storage etc
Soon as I got home that day I put the Gloss Black bonnet vents and grill on.

All I need to do now is get to the 1,200 miles so I can get the service done then really start to enjoy it.

Great colour combination, that white is
Re DCT/Manual. DCT gives you ZERO involvement. They're so good they're too good. At least with SMG you got a little involvement, but all that's taken away by DCT.
Manual all day for the e92, and I say that as an e46 SMG owner so I'm not against flappy paddles.

Another thumb up for the Manual, nothing wrong with the DCT box at all it's very accomplished but if you want true involvement it has to be a manual for me & you can blip the throttle yourself on down changes if you want.

For me it's DCT all the way, I had an SMG a few years back (then all manual's) and they are leagues apart but it's all down to personal preference. Loads of ex manual drivers on the M3 forum are now using DCT and love it.
