Hi All

this only happens if I press the dash button but it states the system is inactive then warns me again when I turn the car off. I have set the system using the guide but it always does this. It has worked as I had warnings when I bought the car but can anyone throw any light as to why pressing the button generates the warning but standard checks don't find anything wrong on start up etc?

Cheers

When you say you "have set the system using the guide", do you mean you've done the 'tyre control set' process and driven around a bit so the system can learn the current state? After that do you get any further messages displayed or is it just when you press the button again that tyre control is inactive is displayed?

Hi, yes I have done the tyre set process and driven around. Its when I subsequently press the button it says it is inactive.

That's because when you press the button (short), you de-activate the TPMS system... so set it, and forget it smile
