ok so my one year with the m5 is almost here. and the warranty details have just come

with the £250 excess its £120 a month for my car with just under 75,000 miles on the clock,

its a 08 car ,

looking at the details of the cover the main things that concerns we are

1, my low annual mileage, 6000

2, wear and tear ,will they say, its at its end of life ,its supposed to wear at this mileage alot

what your experience with named component cover and high mileage ,or sholud i go to warranty direct and get their all signing cover every polices for £600

Tough one at 75k miles, but I'd probably go reduced coverage BMW warranty over wider third party. If it is peace of mind you are looking for.

I do. My front headlight got replaced at 70k no questions asked. I have full/no xs, pay monthly.

My M3 is still covered by the extended warranty. I got in before 60k miles and pay monthly. £82 IIRC. Have had a number of things replaced and car is now on almost 70k. It's a 2005 car, so pretty "old" by BMW warranty standards.
