Hi, anyone know if you can flash reprogram the ECU on the newer 2013 M3 via the OBD port ? I want to remap the car as I am fitting the Akra Evo exhaust but my local tuner isnt sure if this can be done via the OBD port on the latest M3. He said if it has the triple layer board you cant flash tune via the OBD port, you have to open the ECU which is risky as it can be easily damaged. Anyone know out there ?? Thanks.

If your tuner doesn't know the answer suggest try someone else.

10 bhp gain if anything on a good day,and warranty gone.

What's the point?

WILL at P-Torque did my E90 2011 M3, improved bottom end a bit, but not great. Car ran much smoother though.
MPG was slightly better also.

If its the full Akrapovic Evolution system (primary cats removed and high flow secondary cats) that OP wants to get installed, the gain is more like 25-30bhp at the wheels.

He was talking about the remap, with the exhaust perhaps, but the remap alone won't give those gains at all.

True. The remap is only worth doing in conjunction with the modified centre section of the exhaust (aka "x-pipe")
