Is there any particular brand of smart phone that works particularly well with the latest BMW Professional Media package and conversely are there any of the most common brands that cause problems, Samsung in particular

my iphone works fine.
in fact found a neat feature today. if it's connected via bluetooth google maps directions works through the car speakers - the place i wanted couldn't be found on sat nag and the BMW app takes forever to send a location via their maps app.

Blackberry Bold 9900 works fine, allowes you to view emails and have them read out whilst on the move.

Iphone has the best functionality but the Samsung Galaxy works well and also the remote app is available via the android store.

BMW focus their integration based on iPhone's

I have "application preparation" spec on my car which enables you to use BMW apps from the Apple app store directly through iDrive. This enables iTunes with artwork/genius etc, BMW remote, BMW locate, Mobile office (will read emails and texts over the speakers), web radio, Facebook/Twitter streaming and the list goes on.

Some info here http://www.bmw.co.uk/en/topics/discover-bmw/connec...
