M3 coupe 2010 Silverston 11, red leather, Auto DCT navigation etc. 13k miles from a dealer quoted at £34,995. BX60OEA. Anyone know this car (London area) and does this sound like decent value noting that the model is changing. Any advice gratefully received.

no buy a Porsche 911. so much better.

I went from a 2007 m3 v8 to a 03 c4s. the c4s was epic with the pse. the m3 was more like a cruiser.

I agree that I'd also rather have a 911 (in fact, I have) I wouldn't entertain a pre-Gen2 997 unless it had a watertight warranty on it.

Which may be a struggle at £35k.

Have driven the 997 (C4S) and have an M3.

As an everyday car that has awesome ability get the M3, its actually faster on the road up to its limiter as well.

The only question you validly raise is whether to pump over £30k into one just before the new one is going to be released. I personally wouldn't pay so much for a coupe, there are lots around with low mileage for less money and although these may be earlier cars may be the better choice...additionally, and this is personal choice, avoid the red leather.

If you are looking at monthly payments then so long as you get a decent agreed value then you have nothing to worry about. Buy it and enjoy it.

I've been from an E92 M3 via a 911 GT3 and am now back in the market for an M3.
An amazing everyday car that you can track, so playful, looks great, and it has a V8 smile

Ummmmmmm bad. Having worked at BMW for over 8years I have seen some bad colour combinations. Silver with red is nice but where Silverstone has a blue tint to it the combo looks odd. At the end of the day it's all personal preference.

Have to agree that the red leather with silverstone looks woeful.

If you've seen it in the flesh and like it then go for it and enjoy. It'll be less desirable come resale time if that bothers you.

But if you like it and it makes you happy then don't worry about the next buyer.
