On here. See a white nor today and found it looked awesome.

What's the typical deal regarding how much money off the list price are we looking at. Sits at nearly £98k.

Thanks, guys..

Different things do it for different people. Personally I love them. When they hit £20k I may well be tempted.

I reckon residuals will be stronger than the coupe. Driven the coupe and it's a good car, not earth moving but alright, suspect the gran is similar to drive. I would give it 12 months if you're serious.

Some M6 models have already lost over £20,000 and they are barely into the 5000 mile mark.

I suspect the Gran Coupe will have an even steeper depreciation curve.

Here is a very good video on it

PS: I think that lip spoiler above the rear windscreen looks revolting.

I do hope you're right, but interested to know your reasons.

I ordered an m3 convertible last weekend but the dealer called on wed to say the factory had no build slots left.

Then started calling other dealers to see what was in stock for M3's and one dealer asked if I would consider an M6. I told him I thought it wouldn't fit my finances but he went off and came back with a deal for me.

new M6 in stock at another dealers £97k list price and he offered £21k off. The deal worked out an extra £5k down and another £125/m. Found an M3 coupe the same day and went for that but it was a very tempting offer!

I have heard and seen one of these in action in Knightsbridhe. They do look nice actually even though I think M6 Gran Coupe is wierd. The name is wierd. Sounded epic. The guy was flooring it from the lights each time and great sound and I even saw it get slightly sideways when going from side road on to Sloane Street/Sloane Avenue. Good looking car too.

I think this may steal sales from M5. As the M5/M6 Gran Coupe are very similar and basically cover the same bases and do exactly the same thing. This is what I find wierd.

21k off, you would never have thought that could happen 10yr ago on an M variant. Dealers use to laugh in the buyers face when a reduction was ask on the sticker price. BMW must be on dodgy ground at the moment, they can't get rid of these M5 and M6's....

Yes i didnt think he would come up with an offer that would be even worth considering as my price range was M3 but he sertainly had me tempted and considering it.

Think if i had missed out on the M3 i got i may well have gone for it. He was insistent that the deal would have to be done by the month end so looks like they had a target to meet.

Given you didn't go for the M6 in the end why not share the link:/ garage for other potential buyers.

Dealer contribution deposit is nearly 13k so they are putting another 8k to it..It's in and around 21% off then and 0% financial payments if that was on the table too.

Yes, BMW are in deep, deep trouble.

Stuck at a mere €7.8bn annual profit, matching last year's figure that included a €1bn fx gain.

The margins are probably quite comfortable even at 21K off list as long as they sell more than a few at the lower price.

Both the M5 and M6 are based on a reasonable volume platform and major components are shared across the 5/6/7 series range.

What makes me laugh really is when we go on about poor residuals on the M's. If we haggle hard enough we can compensate a bit for it when we are ready for sell on, specially if you have a good example..
