Hi,

I've recently bought a BMW iPhone 3GS Music snap-in adaptor, part number 84212158683 which clips in to the centre console of my 2005 M6.

I've clipped it in and fitted my 3GS phone which initiates charging however nothing else happens.

The manual states that "Every time you place your iPhone in to the adaptor the following message appears on the phone briefly: This accessory has not been developed for use with an iPhone. Do you wish to enable flight mode? Either ignore or press No".

However i get no such message and I can't get music to play.

My Bluetooth phone connection for calls works ok. Anyone have any ideas as to what I'm missing?

Thanks,
Oli

You need either the BMW iPod kit, aux kit, or a dension gateway 500. You won't get music out without one of those. Bluetooth is for calls only
