Trying to find a pair of 265 35 19's for my 1M - Camskill say that Michelin have stopped production until October.

Anyone know of a suitable source that is well priced?

Speak to Derek at Lynchford Tyres in Farnborough. He does mine and my mates 911 tyres and did a good fitted price. Cheaper than Costco and anywhere else online.

Have you considered swapping to continental conti sport 3's much easier to get hold of, much harder wearing, more progressive break away point and yet plenty sticky.

Always preferred them to the specified Michelin's on my 996

I recently used these guys for my GT3 tyres, they appear to have them in stock

I've just done the opposite - mine came with Conti SP3s, now I'm on Michelin PSSs. I found the latter to be noticeably better, so the extra money is well spent in my view. Seem to be cup-like when warm, but have the best wet grip of any tyre I've had. Very happy with them.

Also...and I realise this is just anecdotal evidence....but I had THREE punctures in 10 months when running Conti tyres (as did an M3-driving buddy).
I've had none so far (in about 6 months) and neither have friends who've run either PS2s or PSSs for YEARS....not once. Just wondering if the Michelins are somehow 'tougher' and therefore less liable to puncture? It could just have been very bad luck with the Contis, I realise that!

I think its just luck.

I'd not had a puncture in 6 years, and then had 3 in 6 months. My car runs PS2s.

I am in the same boat in that I need a set of rears for me M3 soon. I am toying with the idea of getting something a little less expensive and more in tune with the winter weather and then purchasing a set of PSS next March ready for the summer.

Thanks chaps, I had a ridiculous puncture on the M4 on Friday night near bath - only realised when the tyre was 15 psi ish / tyre warning light - tyre unrepairable.
Weirdly, the car didn't waiver but then again, we were pootling along at 70 in a straight line.

Will check out some of the options....

Agree on PSS being bloody grippy - drove across brecon beacons a couple of weeks ago - epic in the wet!
