Oh my good lord!

I expect that the deals on the e92 will need to get pretty good to stop people from waiting until this car is available.

A 10 grand price hike seems more like 20 in the current market too.

Still, sell the e46, tool about in my skoda station car for a year, stop eating etc and I should have enough for one!

Generally quite like the way its styled.

However the rear bumper is a bit slab sided, the exhaust looks like an afterthought and is slung too low and i don't like the configuration of the M4 badge.

Otherwise a good job. As an owner proposition this could be awesome and only bettered by the 4 dr (but i would say that).

No News yet regarding the engine - I searched all over the web to see if there was any official information however there was nothing at all. In the meantime we can all but drool over the exterior.

Wait for release..... And wait 3 years for the £40k depreciation and I'm in!

Interested to see what's an option, carbon splitter, ceramic brakes....I suspect it's gonna be possible to spec this up to £75-80k. A beautiful dream for now. Nice colour too.

75 to 80k is too much with options. 80k gets you a new M6 and its in 911 territory. BMW pricings are tits up, not sure what they have to do...

I was thinking the exact same thing - You can pick up a 6 month old M6 for that, M5, GTR, 911, NEW NSX is out soon, F type Jag - Ok some of these cars do cater for slightly different markets however if I was spending 65-70k on a performance car I certaintly would consider EVERYTHING which is also available.

BMW have to be mad to price it this high - Originally the M3 was an affordable performance car - its not that anymore.

I think the only way BMW will shift these will be on lease deals with consderable contributions from them.

Totally agree. Cars these days are priced to lease not to buy it seems. If you turn up to a dealer with cash they couldn't be less interested as I have found last few years.

At the rumoured weight and power output the m4 will be within 10hp per tonne of the m6 whilst carrying 350kg less into a corner and that will make for a better drivers car.

But it will be a dear do.
