To spray or not to spray that is the question
Discussion
So I have my lovely 23 year old E30 M3. diamond black. now the interiour is in excellent condition, mechanically she is spot on, just changed the springs and dampers for new originals. The only thing that lets her down is the marks on the paint. there is nothing really bad, but the bonnet and front bumper is pebbled dashed, the sides have a bit of stone chipping and the rear spoiler has a few marks. there are a couple of spots of bubbling where rust is setting in, nothing bigger than your little finger nail. The paint is totally original. So do I leave her and accept her as she is worts and all, or take her to a really good body shop and have a windows out respray and have the rust sorted as well. I'm not look for concorse car as I like using her, but I'm torn, totally original or restored paint??

Can anyone advise on the current market rate for a full respray, please?
I think a lot depends on the quality of job your looking for and how much they uncover during the job. I'd have thought for a decent job your looking at at least £3k, could be a lot more if rust and or crash damage is found.
