Has anyone had their Mk4 sat nav fixed? Mine won't eject the disc.

Found a place online that you an post it too for repair, but wondered if it would be cheaper to just buy a 2nd hand one from eBay?

Anyone ad their unit repaired?

Is it not just a case of take it to the local bmw dealer and ask them to eject the old disk so that you can pop in a newer more up to date version?

Unless its ronnied, a member of their technician staff should surely be able to get it out for you?

Good luck!

I have a Mark III that did the same thing, I was told to press and hold the eject button in for around 90 seconds and then release and press the button again briefly. This worked for me.

I've sent it off to Revtronic in Bradford, £145 to fix and fit new bits..

Hopefully get it back Wed/Thursday.
