I do 20K miles a year and really want to upgrade to the M5 but struggling to justify!! how can I persuade myself?!

The M5 must be the contract lease performance bargain at the moment as there are very good deals out there on it versus other makes

I have an F10 M5 and probably do 15k miles per annum. Essentially, even with the best man maths in the world, it doesn't stack up against a 535D for any more miles than that, but do I care?

No one iota!

Do it.

Agree 100%. My 535d was a great car once I finished palying with it, very fast and still over 35mpg, but the M5 is awesome and pretty good on MPG if it needs to be.
