Edibas or inpa help in Staffordshire / Cheshire please

Hi,
Car: E60 M5
I have a fault on my IDrive (restraint fault) that I'm trying to read and delete due to a faulty battery.
I've installed Edibas several times and can not get the damn thing to talk to my laptop (had same issue with my E46 M3)
I've even bought an OBD2 Bluetooth adapter from eBay to work with Torque on Android but this shows up no fault codes on the ECU :-/
Now I have an extended BMW warranty with Mondial but I want to sort this fault clearing myself so has anybody within a 50 mile radius of Stoke On Trent got Edibas or a working fault reader / clearer I could use?
I'd be happy to exchange 5 minutes of your time into beer vouchers! :-)

Hi Mark
I have bm technic, witch I use to check and delete any codes, upto build date of 2009.
If this helps I live in Nottingham.
All the best

Hello Tiler,
Firstly, thanks for the reply!
I was starting to think that M5 owners are not very friendly :-( haha
I may take you up on your offer if you do not mind?
I see that your a fellow E60 M5 owner :-)
What do you think of them? How long have you owned yours for? Have you had any issues?
I see your a petrol head like myself judging by the cars in your garage! What was your VXR8 like to own? I may get one after the M5 :-)
