Has anyone else noticed on the BMW website that there have recently been a large number of the E46 M3's becoming available?

Is this because the warranty has changed fairly recently to be based on miles rather that age? The reason I ask is because I have been looking at Porsches and BMW M cars and I must admit the thing that is swaying me to get another BMW is the warranty as I don't do huge miles on my second or third cars so I can have a bit more choice - plus will it help residuals? The reason I am going off Porsches is the 911s in budget are around 8years old so I'd pay a premium to have the warranty and then get proper shafted in 2yrs time when I have to sell it without a warranty - and anyone who has ever had a modern porsche will appreciate a warranty is needed because the engines are shall we say not a reliable as they used to be.

Hmmm an M3 CSL under warranty is a very attractive proposition!

If you were looking for a low mileage car with main dealer auc warranty, there's not a lot of other options.

Hexagon have been around for years, my Late Dad bought / sold E-Types to them in the early 70s. They were pricey back then, but their cars were all ways of good quality.

BMW Hexagon of Highgate had a very nice 10000 mike 2006 M3 CS SMGII Silver Grey Metallic Paint for £30k in 2010. I nearly bought it and is the nicest E46 M3 I have ever been in (CSLs included) :-)
