F10 M5 - Approved used
Discussion
I'm still considering a F10 M5 to replace my ageing 997 turbo. I noticed at the weekend that there were quite a few for sale under the BMW AUC scheme. Shifting these must be a challenge given the current lease deals on new ones. Given this would I get a cracking deal if I negotiated hard on one of the AUC cars? Or am I kidding myself and the current lease deals are a no brainer?
ETA : started thinking about these cars again since rather oddly I saw a black F10 M5 (F10 T*E) commuting out of Leeds on the Otley road last night and then the same car again in virtually the same place commuting back in this morning both times it looked and sounded great (driving was a bit iffy though)

I had a brief look at used but it appears to me dealers won't budge on cars (any more than normal) and they expect the lease deals to end at which point the value of used F10's falls back into place. Don't forget they've paid good money for these cars and won't want to lose on them!
They also can't offer the finance deals (if that's 'your' method of purchase) on used, rates are higher.
Back to my conclusion these lease deals are currently very good value for money.

They don't appear to be based on a few emails I have been party to with another PH M5 buyer yesterday.
Drat. I'm trying my hardest to believe they've dried up, so I don't find myself with an M5 on the drive

I'd take a stab and say the earlier cards will be traded at just under £40k, retailing for 45-48k in dealer network. A private Sale would or should be around 43ish
What's the best deal on buying one new.....think it's around £58K std
You'd have to be a mug to pay close to 50k for an 11 reg 20 miler

They are out there...but not from your average main dealer. I have been dealing with Neil Barnes at Cooper Thames Ditton who seems to be able to conjur up magic deals that are relevant to both private and businesses.Crazy4557 said:
