ALPINA E 46 M3
Discussion
During the 1970s BMW Concessionaires Grt Britain could supply you ( if you were very well healed and had a spare £7,595 ) with an Alpina modified 3.0 Si ( Which as standard was The sports saloon of the 70s ) and also a 3.0 CSL, but their huge cost meant possibly only around 5 of the 500 uk rhd CSLs were Alpina modified.
The brilliant Motor Sport magazine in their May 73 test of the Concessionaires 3.0 Si demo car ( MYP 9L where are you now ?? ) described it as " Four doors, Five seats 150 mph
For the 3.0 Si it is not known how many Alpina cars were built as only 14 odd standard Sis are known to have survived, possibly only 3 were Alpina converted.
But can anyone tell me if Alpina have ever supplied a modified E46 M3, or supplied " add on " tuning parts ?
