Bought this yesterday privately for trade money (bargin) to use for the shops and running the kids about in. In m sport spec and in estoril blue makes it look pretty good. Drives really well too. Mint condition and 5 year service pack and 30 quid a year to tax, proper chuffed. In one year and 13000 miles the guy had lost almost what the m5 is costing on contract hire per month. On rrp he would have lost a mental amount of cash for a low cost car.

Keeping for 1 year is the problem from new. To be fair to the chap I paid him £250 more than dealers bid him. I think he could have pulled £1500 more privately if he held out for longer. But company car on its way and he preferred somebody to get a bargin as opposed to dealer making 3k. Its not as if its base spec. Drivers pack, comfort pack, dab, sun glass, auto lights & wipers and 5 yr service pack

Sooooo, when you say the M5's little brother, You mean the MX5?

Cos comparing a 118 M sport to an M5 you are comparing a Ferrari to a guy with a ferrari baseball cap?

I'd assumed you'd got yourself an M135i.

....which, contrary to popular opinion on here, is not the M5's little brother either.

I believe he is referring to the fact he has an M5 in the same/similar colour, therefore little brother + big brother:
