Just a heads up. Needed new rears for the car (275x35/18). Found that Asda were cheapest (fitting is done by a local tyre co.). Paid £385 for 2 fitted. Happy with that. smile

Is that the new Asymetric 2 Eagle F1's? Sounds like a bargain!

I got some A2's for £350 delivered from love tyres. Had to get them fitted. That cost me £25. Tyre fitters didn't damage the rims either which was a bonus

This bodes well - I've driven at high speed over 100s of 1000s of miles on Goodyears, so I do trust them. How do the EagLe F1 A2s compare with the Michelin PSS? Sorry, a relative noob and looking at future options for the M3.

I'm going to get Super Sports all round in the new year I think. From what I can find after trawling through the internet the Super Sport is about the pinnacle, especially from a driving perspective.

Not sure if wet grip will be as good as the Goodyears but by all accounts it's a far more rounded tyre than the Pilot Sport 2.

I am in the market for a set or rear super sports at the moment. Managed to get over 16K out of the first set on my E92 which I think is superb considering the ability of the tyre and the kicking they got in the alps earlier in the year driving

In the past I swore by Eagle F1s on my older M3s and then the A2s on my 135. The A2s are brilliant and at 350 quid they are brilliant value too.

Super sports are astonishing in wet and dry and definitely worth the extra money if you are willing to spend it.
