BMW M6 E63 V10 experience so far.....

Got the car on Saturday, have done less than 200 miles since.
Car is epic in a straight line and sounds mental. However, my running has been limited to the motorway (105 miles), a short trip to Leeds (35 ish miles) and back and dropping my daughter off to school (2 miles) as well a little drive around town (3-4 miles).
Some things I have noticed however.
This morning I dropped daughter off, wifey opened the door to take daughter out of the back and the car stopped. I found this most unusual and embarrasing and it was a bit of a faff to get the car start again. Maybe it is a safety mechanism built into the car, maybe it is something else.....
Secondly, for a brief second the reg cog light came on while I was driving and turned off again. My heart sank when that happened!
Thirdly, the car makes a whirring noise when I open it up with a key fob. Is this normal?
Finally, the f*cking thing is leaking oil from the front and the rear. I parked on my driveway and noticed it but dismissed it thinking it was my old Passat. Then I parked at work and saw it again...two spots (front and rear differential area). I then moved it to another spot thinking 'surely not!!!' and there again, two black fresh oil spots underneath the car.
I have spoken to the supplying dealer and they said they were surprised as it was 'spotless' when it was in their prep room (surely, they would say that) but would cover any parts for the car.
My issue is this; surely an official BMW dealer should be more meticulous in their preperation of such an expensive car and furthermore, if the car is a duff one do I have a case of rejecting the car and getting my money back? I have paid £6,000 already and glad I didn't pay any more as legally it could be a right PITA.

The oil patches are fresh to the touch and it's more than a coincidence that they are underneath the car in 3 different locations now.
Where do I stand? I have the car booked in tomorrow morning at Sandal Huddersfield but from what I have heard and read, they are not the best people out there unfortunately.

What a nightmare really sorry to hear your having problems already 
That looks like a lot of oil. Personally I wouldn't even drive it again until its sorted.
I'd say yes absolutely you have a case especially considering you've had the car for a matter of days. Your buying through BMW for peace of mind and to avoid these potential problems of a private 'sold as seen' sale. I'd be back down there straight away sat in front of the sales person until its sorted. That's my opinion anyway!

Hmmm... another BMW AUC car that is sold is less than satisfactory condition!
Suggest you drop it back with them ASAP. It needs sorting before it turns into anything worse... like a permanent RCoD. It could be a diff and/or gearbox leak which is a relatively simple fix and will be covered by your AUC warranty.

Moving off from first gear the car is quite slow as if the clutch cylinder isnt releasing the gear immediately. So slow to the point where much slower traffic car have a 5-10 car gap before I get going fully. Is this normal? Or am I just not used to it?
I drive it in S4 setting and don't really rev the car until the engine is fully warmed up.

Really doesn't sound good mate especially the cutting out / red cog

This, any pre sale prep/fixes will come straight out of their profit. Suggest you drop it back with them ASAP. It needs sorting before it turns into anything worse... like a permanent RCoD. Any post sale problems will be covered by BMW under the AUC warranty.
This is terrible from a BMW AUC dealer. I would be giving them one chance to rectify this and then escalating it to BMW HQ for the reason above, if the dealer is going to try and get these sorted under warranty and so avoid the cost then that is unethical. Not to mention your inconvenience and having the experience soured in short time.
Top tip: When pulling away from the lights after being in Neutral remember to tap the brake pedal before pressing the accelerator. This lets the gearbox know you are about to pull away and positions the release bearing and clutch plates to give a smooth pull away when you apply the throttle. If you don't tap the pedal you get that kick in the back type application of the clutch after a short delay. This is why people think the SMGIII box is jerky and dim-witted. They just don't know how to use it.
As for the whine. This is the SMG pump priming itself.
The oil leaks are something to be upset about. Take it back to get fixed.
Engine stopping when a door is opened sounds like either: You were still in gear and not o the handbrake, or there is an electrical issue.
In my opinion this deal looked iffy right from when they only changed 3 tyres. If you have a sixth sense that this car might be the start of your financial unraveling i suggest you send it back for a refund.

I want to stress my gripe is not with the sales man. He couldnt have been more helpful in helping me deal with this matter. My issue is with the prep and service guys. While cosmetically the car looks AWESOME I feel the mechanical bits were glossed over in their pursuit of a larger proft margin.
I have patience in the matter. As long as the car gets sorted and all matters are rectified there shouldnt be a problem.
Do i get supplied a courtesy car while all of this work is under taken, assuming it takes more than a day or two to rectify.....?
Ecain, I'll try your SMG suggestion assuming it doesnt need a new clutch/flywheel replacement. That red cog has seriously got me worried though.

I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect you're finding out (rather graphically) why someone else sold or part ex'd the car 
Whether the salesman was good or not, is now immaterial, he did his job (that being to sell you the car).
In my (all too hard earnt) experience, he'll now do nothing more than point you in the direction of the Service Advisors desk. It's now a service department problem.
As someone else has said, you have to give them the chance to rectify the issues.
If you have the time, I'd ask to be there when the diagnosis is done. Be polite, but don't stand for any "We don't know when we'll be starting it" nonsense. Book it in and tell them you'll be wanting to wait whilst the diagnosis is made.
Be polite and ask to speak to the technician tasked with the diagnosis. Without being a drama queen, stress to him this is your pride and joy and that you've saved long and hard to buy it. Once a diagnosis has been made, ask to see where the leaks are from and also establish what will be involved in rectifying them. Knowledge is power . . .
I hope you get it sorted in a satisfactory manner. If it were me, I think I'd be suffering buyers remorse at this point.

This.Phone BMW Emergency Service, tell them the car is dropping significant amounts of oil, the red gearbox light has come on, and you're concerned about driving it.
They'll arrange a recovery to the dealership, and you'll be provided with a courtesy car until yours is repaired.
