M5 Sakhir Orange

Has anybody been brave enough to choose a Sakhir Orange M5? If so, what does the colour look like for real and can you post a pic?

Yep.... but it hasn't been built yet. Got it in Silverstone II with 20 inch black wheels.

There are plenty of M5 Sakhir Orange pictures on the net, for example



However, I've found that this colour is very sensitive to the way your monitor is setup and the type of light (bright sub, cloud, artificial etc.). You really need to see the colour in the flesh and under different lighting.

Sakhir Orange both inside and out is very nice in real life.

I've also seen a couple of examples in 'Superman' spec - blue exterior with Sakhir interior. I didn't have the balls to spec this in mine (indeed, I didn't even think of it as a viable combo) but after seeing a few pics like the one on the thread below, I think it looks tremendous and would certainly be easier to maintain than my Opal White interior, which is horrendous to keep looking new.

I think someone on here got an M5 in MCB and Sakhir and that looked great too.

Yes I have notice that hence wondering if anybody actually had one.

A cap is fine, there was one guy on there who picked up his new M5 in a full BMW ///M nomex race suit which was a bit extreme.

Holy thread revival....

Anyway, to complete the story, a few months ago I bought myself an LCI M5 CP in Sakhir Orange.

I am convinced that it is the best colour I have ever seen on a modern M5.

I was quite apprehensive when I ordered mine, so much so that I was going to change it to San Marino Blue, but before I could the car went into build!

However, no regrets whatsoever, I've not had a negative comment on the colour and get plenty of positives. Interestingly they have now dropped Sakhir Orange from the standard colours for the M6 and the M3 and M4 get Sakhir Orange II.

My F10 M5 is also in Sakhir Orange, black piano trim and black interior

best combo in my opinion, and never seen another on the road!
