So i'm thinking of getting a couple of road cameras - one front and one rear in addition to some kind of speed camera detector such as the pogo GPS.

Now...when I inquired into a tracker the garage my M5 is coming from stressed the fact that they used a certain company that was very good with the M5, this is because there have been some incidents of things happening after collection and BMW can't help if this has been installed via a third party. This had me worried but...this was with regards to a tracker...not simple hard wiring. I know the tracker involves a lot more work.

Are there any real dangers in simple hard wiring of the above or will any decent, reputable company be OK?

I'm no expert on any of the equipment above but I would have thought the cameras and Pogo unit would just require a 12v ignition live (and / or constant live) and a negative terminal. I don't see what else they would require.

It should be straight forward.
