Well the Beemer has been sold, 9 years of real pleasure, its never let me down, its been great fun if not a little loud (117db at anglesey lol), spent £1000's on it, its leaving with around 450bhp at the wheels and i think its going to get plenty more with its new owner wink

I ordered my new car yesterday, 550bhp supercharged V8 R power, cant wait :groupjump:

Christ, an M5 that loud? What the hell had you attached to the exhaust manifold, a municipal drain with a tuba bell on the end? yikes

I was taking back an XFR I had been given for a few days and got talking about the F in R spec with the salesman who told me that the numbers available are being limited so prices are not being discounted by a penny.

Apparently easy to get to £100k if you take the carbon brake upgrade!!!

Shame about the discount, or lack off.
I test drove this car and bought the LCI M5.

RoverP6B, its got Vann Mannan headers, VM 100cel racing cats, milltek 'x' pipe and hayward and Scott back box's which are basically straight through so just a bit loud and added with a map about 50bhp lol

JMBMWM5, no definately no discount but i did get gap ins, wheel and tyre cover which basically covers me for wheel repairs x10 over 3 years and £250 x5 towards tyre replacement over 3 years.
Paint and interior protection for life.
3 year service pack

So did quite well i think, as for the f10 m5 i did look at them (been looking to change since sept last year), but very samey to what i already had but a lot quicker but there also very samey to every other model and i wanted something different. Couldnt get much different i suppose wink

Hi Tim,

I'm shocked!!

I'd have thought you'd have kept the M5 for much longer, long term !

Looks like the lure of more power has got to you and it'll be interesting to see what you do to it wink

To those wondering and amazed at the worded description of how loud the exhaust setup is on the M5.. all I can say in real life and also from sitting in the back seat, the sound is simply.. INSANE !

PS - Tim, I will drop you a text or call soon !

Cheers, Dennis!
