F10 M5 squeeling brakes

Famous M car brakes.

Mines were rumbling on Saturday after a few hard stops. Only been on the car since November and only covered 1000 or so miles in them. :S

+1... Does anyone have experience of getting this addressed? Clarkson's ST column this weekend did galvanise the extent to which the squeal annoys me..

I noticed mine making a quietish rubbing noise for the first time on Saturday after about 3600 miles. I assume that it's just slight and unpreventable corrosion on the discs and isn't harmful to operation.

I have the same issue, only intermittently though. Just turned 5K.

other forums suggest its normal and cleared by a hard brake at motorway speeds. Thought it was new pads needed which was a worry at 7k miles although I have been hammering it

I've had this on an off throughout the two years I have had my car.

A lot of stop start traffic and gentle use seems to bring the squealing on and I have found that a few heavy braking stops seems to clear it.

Very annoying when it happens
