Thinking of heavier duty, lowering springs, particularly for the rear as she's sitting a tad high ( partly due to the removal of the rear seats, 1/4 cards etc etc.
I don't want the thing scraping it's belly so only looking to lower it slightly.

Any recommendations ?

H&R are the best, unless you go for coilovers

I believe Hartge are regarded as the very best, but not commonly available and quite expensive iirc.

I put a set of Eibach springs on my old E46 M3. They did drop it slightly but only very conservatively. They rode well, to the point where you had to be really searching, to feel a difference. I was more than happy with them.

As someone else has pointed out though, a H&R spring set is a very good product. Will unquestionably drop the car further, especially at the front. i would even go as far as saying they will ride better than the Eibachs on initial travel, despite the lower drop. I have these on my current car (not an M3 unfortunately, but closest estate alternative I could find!) but if anything find the drop a little too much for our roads. Wheel travel seems compromised too much.

It has raised the question to me however, which don't know if anyone on here can answer technically, are both Eibach and H&R progressive spring design? The Eibach felt linear to me where as H&R almost certainly feel progressive. But maybe I just don't know what I'm looking for as most online literature describes both sets as being progressive?

I put Vogtland coilovers in mine and a friend put the same brand springs in. Basically KW but branded Vogtland. They both feel almost OEM. The springs are 25mm. I got them from Lowerks.com
