Its a small price to pay really for the fun this car gives. This will be my third pair of rears in 18k.

I've used the original fitment PS2's before but are the PSS's available in this size with the correct BMW rating? My fronts are very good, any problems with PS2's on the front and PSS on the rear?

Thanks
Fred

An average of 6,000 miles for 2 rears...wow I thought I was bad when my rears lasted < 10,000 miles on my GTR.

I personally don't think that level of wear is normal unless you do a lot of track driving - perhaps get the alignment checked?

I enjoyed my E60, but rears lasted way longer than that.

Are you hammering on track?

If not, something is wrong with the alignment or you need to learn to drive!!

I've done 18k on 2 sets now I need a third, thats 9k for me. Tyres wear evenly so no problems there.

Besides worn out 285's are great for putting round horses water buckets to stop the little tykes tipping them over.

Any thoughts on the PSS's

Regards
Fred

On my E63 M6 I now have PSS on the front, and PS2 on the back. It still feels good, and will replace the worm PS2's with PSS when needed.
